I am an artist by heart, profession and conviction. I believe in art's power to challenge conventions, raise awareness and change perceptions. At the same time I appreciate the sense of peace, happiness, resolve and accomplishment that often accompanies creative expression and one's involvement with the creative process.
Other than that, I originally come from Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, and love my country. I also love nature and feel compelled to fight against pollution and encourage sustainable living through my art and personal behavior. And when I'm not being so serious and focused, I enjoy music, movies, hiking, the beach, books and meeting new people. In a nutshell :)
