Visual artist and live performer, living and working in Antwerp, Belgium.
I work in a broad spectrum of media such as installations, photography, drawings and sculpture.
Making use of my body and voice in live performances/videos or sometimes becoming the protagonist in some of my photography works to convey and interrogate implications of our acts in varied environments and contexts. I take inspiration from my surroundings, to create works that can be placed in disparate environments and these are often fragments of a multimedia work in progress.
My works are a result of observation and sensations of the everyday influences in our social developments/changes in our environment and culture.
In my pluri-disciplinary approach, the individual is constantly confronted with its own fragility. It puts forward personal autobiographical elements which accentuates and exposes the frailty and instability of man in its environment.
