A world to be redefined: that is the purpose of my artistic research. Civilization phenomena in today’s world are formulated in a misleading way. They are taken out of context, changed and fixed as a permanent point of view. These opinions dominate the collective view and are one-dimensional. These representations appear in society as definitive and absolute. They form a restrictive barrier against freedom and prevent understanding the world with serenity and objectivity. These views are deviations from the norm and I choose to deviate from them in order to deconstruct them. I deviate without prejudice and violence. I aim to transcend the traditional boundaries imposed on society. I approached this transition with positive energy allowing my work to flow from one concept to another or from one segment to another. My purpose with this transgression, in spite of the obvious paradox, is to create a hybrid from two opposites, concepts, segments, forms, mediums... The transgressions can be found in such images of the biological and historical mutation, which are shaping humanity. There is even a connexion between beliefs and values, materials, symbols, stereotypes and genders. Links between figurative and non-figurative representations bring up many questions regarding figuration and images - such as video images closely connected to light as well as the opposite of images and lights, ie “black”. A moving image is a game between an image and its absence. What is magical about it is that it connects light and darkness.
