South African contemporary jeweller/jewellery artist/ sculptor/advocate for Mapungubwe

Make big and small objects related to kinesis of jewellery objects on the living, moving human body. Seek new definitions of precious value that encompass materials including gold and recycled Nespresso capsules, without precluding labour and design, and fascinated by the engagement between the wearer and the object, and the wearer- object - viewer triad. Collections include MAD, New York; De Beers, AngloGold Ashanti, UNISA, JAG, Ellerman Contemporary Collection, South Africa; Helen Drutt-English, Philadelphia. Exhibited at Global Africa Project 2010 New York, Schmuck Sonderschau, Now National Gallery of Victoria Melbourne, then Design Museum London,active on Design Indaba 2004-2011 as a curator and speaker once; advocate for pre-colonial goldsmiths of Southern Africa through my sculpture (gold rhinoceroses) and paper published in book -Mapungubwe Remembered-(Dec,2011).Use simple icons like Surf Marmite - for picture necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, corporate gifts, and also little french stories around the neck too.
