I am a PhD candidate in African art history at the University of Florida interested in contemporary African artists who use recycled materials as media. I specifically focus on the arts of Mozambique - artists who use manmade and natural recyclia and the TAE project. I utilize recycling as a tool for understanding cultures and their art.
