Lara Bourdin

Graduate Student in South African Art History

Recent graduate in art history based in Montréal, Canada, with interests centering on modern and contemporary African art and visual culture, globalization and the arts, and postcolonial thought. As an aspiring writer and critic, I work as the art editor for ZAM Magazine, a multimedia platform celebrating African creativity and new thinking. Past collaborations and experiences include work with UNHCR, Art Moves Africa (African arts mobility fund), and organizations supporting refugee and immigrant populations in Montréal.
