Peter Musa, (b. 1967) is a Cameroonian visual artist and freelance journalist. His profesional profile includes networking expertise, creative and innovative, communicator, arts and culture manager. He trained as a sales and marketing professional; became an Associate Member (AMInstCM) of the Institute of Commercial Management (U.K.) in 1991; Full Member (MCIJ) of the Chartered Institute of Journalists (U.K.) in 1995. Prior to becoming Director of the Musa Heritage Gallery (Mus'Art Gallery) Peter served as the Cameroon Correspondent of the British published 'Computers in Africa' journal. In 2004 he co-founded CREATE and since then its coordinator. He is also the editor of the Directory of Arts and Culture Organizations active within the CEMAC countries of Africa; Cameroon, Central Africa Rep., Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon published annually. Peter is a member of the International Council of African Museums (AFRICOM), Culturelink Network, the Arterial Network, Commonwealth Association of Museums (CAM) and the international steering commitee of the International network for Cultural Diversity (INCD). He has published many articles in Cameroon and abroad, as well as several papers at international conferences on the arts, culture, museums, new information and communication technologies (ICTs) and on environmental issues.
