In my art I use the film figure of King-Kong to unmask the racist bias and the prevailing attitudes that lead to xenophobia and exclusion. In my photo serial "White girl from Black Forest" I subject the typical Western attitude towards other cultures in form of ethnological researches as post-colonial superiority behavior. To unmask it efficiently I often use myself as 'role-model'.
