Lan Anh is passionate about exploring the transformative power of nature and human being and the deep relationship between them. She works with different art medium to play with imagination and engage others in collaborative actions. Her work focuses on using art-based communication to actively question issues around social and environmental justice. She initiated projects with farmers, women, children and youth groups in Vietnam, Canada and Ecuador to enable them to create dialogues and mobilize their communities to grow seeds of change through learning and playing together.
As a film maker and writer, Lan Anh has produced three documentaries which have been featured at the Peterborough World Traveling Film Festival in Canada and the LEAP Documentary Film Festival for Development in Phillipines. Lan Anh is completing her MA degree in Theatre and Medias as Development at University of Winchester.
