Artist Statement

I am the subject that becomes objectified, hence becoming a reflection of society. I analyze and regurgitate human behavior. I become the poison that we have created.

My work is rhetorical. I transcend ideas of consciousness, confrontation and conditioning by using my body as the vessel of art. The concepts of erasing lines, boundaries, perimeters, discipline, control and impediments are created in territories that are established as my own and are open for the viewer to become a part of the work, through interaction.

The process and endurance of my own public humiliation becomes the equation of mastering independence through displaced separation. My life is a performance of isolation.

The work is exhibited through Live Performance, Video, Photography, Sculpture, Installations, Dance and Choreography.

My influence is embedded in philosophy, experiments through alterations, observations and analysis of Human behavior in controlled environments. The writings of Aldous Huxley and Sigmund Freud also prove to be of significant inspiration.
