I hold a bachelor in art history from 2009 and have since then been working in various art institutions with focus on contemporary art - as art communicator, research assistant, curator assistant, project coordinator and affiliated curator. I am currently working as curator for Råderum - office for contemporary art, Copenhagen.
My field of interest is a theoretical approach to the state of art in the current state of "globalization". This includes the investigating the conditions of artists working outside the so-called "international art world" as well as questioning of exhibition rhetorics when it comes to presenting - or staging - the art of foreign cultures.
I currently work intensely on increasing my knowledge and practical experience of artistic endeavors and exhibition customs outside Euro-American borders. So far this has led me to research sojourn in Hong Kong, Buenos Aires and currently I am based in Dakar, Senegal as a curator in residency at Raw Material Company.
