Be part of the world’s most prestigious modeling contest Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Gisele Bundchen all have one thing in common: they all made their first step in modeling in the ELITE MODEL LOOK contest. This international modeling contest offers a unique opportunity to be noticed by the biggest players in the fashion industry: the agents, designers, photographers and stylists that will guide you and accompany you throughout your career. Previous winners have appeared on catwalks around the world, featured on the covers of major fashion magazines and in the campaigns of the leading fashion houses. Created in 1983, Elite modeling contest has become a worldwide renowned international event. Every year, Elite teams travel throughout the world in search of the top models of the future. For the first time, this contest is accessible by girls in GABON, CONGO and EQUATORIAL GUINEA via the Gabonese local modeling agency: Agence K. Partners and sponsors of this yearly event all come together to create what is to become the most awaited fashion event of the region. Castings start in late June. The caravan will start in late June in Libreville (GABON), then Brazzaville (CONGO) and Malabo (EQUATORIAL GUINEA). Semi-finals: Mid-July in either Congo or Equatorial Guinea (to be confirmed)
Finals: The candidates arrive in Gabon for a week of pampering and preparation for the 3 October final ceremony
International final: Three winners selected to go to the Elite Model Look Final. The concept:
CASTINGS: 15 candidates to be pre-selected in each country SEMI-FINALS:
- A total of 45 candidates from the three countries compete in the semi-finals taking place in either Congo or Equatorial Guinea (to be negotiated by the respective countries).
- 5 candidates per country will be selected
- A total of 15 candidates will compete in the national finals in Gabon FINALS:
- One week of pampering, make-over and preparation for the 15 candidates
- 3 winner will be selected to compete with the candidates coming for the 80 other participating territories.
