Nike lives in Kenya where she creates her ethical and sustainable fashion. With her background in art, design and responsible entrepreneurship she seeks to provide a fair alternative to the fashion industry.
She "re designs" by creating garments from recycled parachutes and accessories from dead wood and found object.
Nike founded KONDAKIS three years ago. KONDAKIS is a responsible fashion company - both socially and environmentally. All collections are produced locally and the people involved are being paid a fair price for their work. Furthermore a percentage of KONDAKIS' turnover goes towards educating Maasai girls in the Kenyan bush.
