Bello Kele aka Bello A.G is a self-taught artist, and photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He spent my childhood in Nigeria where my parents are from living and studying in countries like; Zaire, Mauritania, and Kuwait. Drawing, inspiration from the different cultures of these different countries to define his artistic direction, and style. Along with movies, cartoons, comics, toys, and books he loved from the age of 9 till present.
On May 8, 2009 he donated an original work of art to the J Dilla at “Dilla Day In The A,” event in Atlanta, GA. On March, 2010 his debut solo exhibit Called “2 Face: Duality of Life,” opened at Picaflor Studios in Atlanta GA. Some of his work, has been displayed in the “The Mint Gallery”(Atlanta,GA), “Raw Space Gallery”(Atlanta,GA), “The Goat Farm”(Atlanta,GA), and “The Castleberry Hill Art Walk”(Atlanta,GA) from the years 2009 – 2011.
On January 9, 2012 his second solo art exhibition, “Abstramentia” opened at Georgia Perimeter College Clarkston campus. The opening reception was on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, with the exhibition ending on March 2, 2012. On February 9, he participated in a group exhibit titled "The Goods" at the Spruill Gallery, and Historical House in Atlanta, GA which ended on March 10, 2012. On April 28, 2012 he curated, organized, financed, and exhibited my work for the group show “Owls N Mic Art & Music Exhibit" with the show ending on June 12, 2012. Currently he is working on curating the first art event for the All 3 Coast Hip Hop Festival 2012, on his next solo art exhibit aimed for spring of 2013, and another group exhibit aimed for summer 2013.
