I am a creative and skilled arts consultant, producer and project manager, with twenty years' experience working in many different contexts and across the art-forms, both in the UK and internationally. I have worked as part of large cultural institutions such as Southbank Centre London (Executive Producer), English National Opera (Contemporary Arts Producer) and the British Council (Head of Arts in France), as well as being engaged as a consultant or producer in a freelance capacity. I have extensive experience in collaborating with artists to realise their vision and in delivering new commissions and initiatives. I have a particular interest in West Africa - particularly Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana.
I am also a photographer, working in the performing arts, documentary and travel photography. Over the last couple of years I have made extensive trips to West Africa exploring the cultural scene in Mali and Burkina Faso and developing my own photographic practice. My recent exhibition, a collaboration with the choreographer Kettly Noel was presented in Bamako in November 2011.
When I'm not travelling, I live in London where my independent arts consultancy business is based.
