Curator's tour at Rivington Place, London

Join us for a guided visit of Roma-Sinti-Kale-Manush with curator Christine Eyene.

Christine Eyene will be giving an introduction to the concept of Roma-Sinti-Kale-Manush a group exhibition examining the condition of Roma communities and exploring questions of visual representation of the Roma in photography, visual arts, and contemporary media.

Ranging from archival to lambda prints, from videos displayed on a monitor to large-screen experimental films, the show brings together a variety of visual approaches, be they documentary or more artistic in genre.

Roma-Sinti-Kale-Manush features works by Cristiano Berti, Elisabeth Blanchet, Danica Dakic, Nigel Dickinson, Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi, Alfredo Jaar, Sitki Kosemen, Josef Koudelka, Maria Papadimitriou, Alessandro Quaranta, William Ropp and Santiago Sierra.
This show is co-curated by Gabi Scardi, Mark Sealy, director of Autograph ABP and Christine Eyene.

It runs until 28 July 2012.
