Society HAE has submitted two proposals to SXSW for panel discussions focusing on new media, art and music in Africa and how they are helping to redefine the continent and provide a variety opportunities locally and abroad.
Earlier this year Society HAE, an online media site, presented at South By South West (SXSW), an annual music, film and interactive conference in Austin, TX attended by over 190,000 people. Society HAE was there to produce a panel discussion on music as a tool to empower communities and to document African artists for a project entitled Afrika21.
What is Society HAE?
Society HAE is an online media site and event production company that uses digital media and events as platforms to celebrate artists and the goodness they create worldwide.
This year Society HAE has submitted two proposals to SXSW for panel discussions focusing on new media, art and music in Africa and how they are helping to redefine the continent and provide a variety opportunities locally and abroad. With over 3,000 proposals submitted for 500 slots, the selection process is very competitive, so feedback from the public is important and will be taken into consideration by the conference staff.
