The west and the rest

Fifty years of independence yet the colonial masters still control our lives. They still decide how we rule ourselves; control our political, economic, religious, social lives. We must follow their system of government else we get sanctions. We are idol worshippers if we don’t follow their religion. They talk about free trade and globalization yet we are not allowed free export of finished goods. We must use fork and knife to eat garri and egusi soup else we are bush people.
